On the relationship between peak ozone levels and meteorological variables

[abstract] The main objective of this paper is to present analytical models relating maximum ozone concentrations in Athens area with various meteorological variables. For this purpose, 54 pollution periods, from the years 1987-1990, were selected and analyzed. Each pollution period is covering a total of seven days. The evaluation of the developed relationships showed that their degree of successfulness is rather promising.
